Some Farang's wife here speak Thai+Eng.
For example, I think is T-shirt is PANG!

and her husband also understand her..

Anyways, the English accent of some ( I can say most) of Farang's wife are terrible.
They speak real Thai accent! very clear in every words.

The most improtant thing is they are confident to speak with native speaker. That why they can speak English very well.

For writing skill... I think you can also learn from reading many books
After you read a few books, you will start to remember the way they arrange the word
it would also help you with the vocabulary as you have to learn new words all the time

But like Mint said... Practice makes perfect   

The more you practice, the more you learn and get more advanced
(but while you practice you'll have to check for errors too)

just my opinion though..






For speaking (informally) ..I think the primary objective is communication
...If that person understand, then that's it. you succeed already 

A few weeks ago I went to Paragon. I saw a Farang shopping with his Thai wife
the guys was about to buy an expensive kitchenware that looks like a hand blender

he said

"For chopping the vegetables สับกระเทียม สับพริก ดีไม่?"


and the wife answer...

No no no.. too much price... You, I can do with my ครกอ่ะ ป๊อกๆๆๆๆๆๆ อ่ะ finish! easy! 


That's it.... Pure communication...... No accents, no grammar required

I also has this kind of feeling when im talking with chinese friends
im not good as english - they neither.

so we start to use natural language

Body Language ? 

I think of luang pee Teng 2 (laung pee Joey).There were gags about farung's wife.
I like the gag that they try to find a word to tell their husband how good they feel at night in dictionary.
That night every one in the village here they scream "potato potato potato.... "  



and also the word "Visit" of Petch Marr

i hate reading,, 

the way i learn eritting is from speaking

the way i lean speaking is from copying someone

don't shy to said sorry when you speak something wrong
and don't shy to say "Sorry I don't understand, can u repeat it again?" 
or other,,

if someone don't understand your english, just thing that you english is very high so noone can understand

Reading might not be fun for someone, but it's useful for comprehensive, vocabulary, and writing..

Writing skill should learned from memorizing the grammatical form
That's why many instructor recommended to do either "reading" or "writing"
Because verbal grammar usage (Tenses, Adj., Adv., etc.) is not always correct ja


But if it's not formal writing then it's fine..


like I said... just to communicate..


If you don't care about grammar or vocabulary you can even write...

 "ฉันตักบาตรเณรเมื่อเช้า"

in English as

"I feed food the little monk in the morning"

// my friend did write this on her paper at 9th grade

I used to hate to learn from reading

but I realized after read a lot of manga. I've learnt many conversation from it.
So I changed my mind. Learn from read is not bad.  

p.s. but my speak and writing skill are still sucks. a lot of grammar error
